So, I really love the Direct TV Commercial that lists all its attributes and then says "You're going to be busy... Very busy." You know the one with the lazy super hero? I think that is awesome. Can you imagine if you actually considered yourself busy because you were watching movies and TV? Could you use it as an excuse?
I'm not saying that I have not wasted an extraodinary amount of my life one both movies and TV. A sad, sad, and very happily lazy amount of time. But, to actually say I was busy at those times? TV is the least active anything you can engage in. I know you burn more calories reading, I am almost positive you burn more sleeping.
I just think this would have been really useful is highschool. Atleast, I could have been more honest with my teachers. "Did you do your home work?" "Really I meant to, but I was really busy watching TV. I mean, it was Thursday night...Friends, ER... And, Math problems, well yeah, not so much."
Now that would have been "Super Classy"
(And sadly this posting is so short and posted so late because I was busy... watching TV, seriously.)
